Last rites for Robert G. (Bob) Bolin, 81, will be held at First United Church of Christ at 10 a.m. today (Nov. 2) with Dr. Jerrold Swinton officiating. Burial will be in Inland cemetery, Bennett. Pallbearers are Alfred and Scott Worrell, Richard Hanna, Vernon Lamp, Harlan Reeder and Tom Ferguson. Betty Trevathan is organist.

Mr. Bolin died at Veterans Administration hospital, Iowa City, Oct. 29.

The son of John W. and Ella M. Lowe Bolin, he was born near Bennett Feb. 17, 1907. He attended the rural Cedar county and Tipton schools.

A retired farmer, he was a Tipton area resident all of his life. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the army from Sept. 29, 1942 to May 17, 1943.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Francis (Eva) McManus, Grand Mound; 4 brothers, Gene, Cedar Falls, Oren, Effingham, Ill.; Wes, Brondisi, Italy and Bill Cupp, Northfield, Minn. and several nieces and nephews.
