Funeral services for Mrs. John (Mildred) Worrell, 90, were held at St. Bridget's Catholic church, Nolan Settlement, Sept. 20 with the Rev. Daniel Mannhardt officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Worrell died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, Sept. 16.

The daughter of John and Agnes Ciha, she was born in Johnson county Dec. 15, 1897. She married Frederick R. Worrell in Solon Oct. 19, 1920. He died in 1959. She had been a resident of West Branch for 68 years.

She was a member of St. Bridget's Catholic church and its Altar and Rosary society.

She is survived by a son, Alfred, rural West Branch; 2 daughters, Geneva Wood, Tipton and Maxine Stinocher, Cohran, Wisc.; 2 brothers, John Ciha, Lisbon and Wesley Ciha, Solon; 3 sisters, Elizabeth Wolrob, Mt. Vernon; Emma Suchomel, Solon and Verona Rohrig, Iowa City; 15 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
