Funeral services for Loyd Marvin Williams, 50, RR 2, Walker, were Thursday, March 14, at 2 p.m. at Rowley Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Floyd Conroy officiated. Burial in Walker Cemetery.

He was born March 10, 1918, in Buchanan County the son of Earl M. Williams and Lillian Kathryn McCright Williams. On March 16, 1939, he married Betty Jean Rainville at Walker. His occupation was farming.

Williams died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at the People's Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Betty; two daughters, Mrs. Don (Connie) Brown, Independence and Janet, at home; one son, Marvin Williams, Rowley; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Earl M. Williams, Walker; three grandchildren; two brothers, Lynn and Clarence, both of Walker.

One daughter, Grace Marie, preceded him in death in 1956. She was one year old.

Pallbearers were Fred Peterson, Ernest Carson, Warren Pratt, Carl Van Tassell, Carl Carpenter and Delbert Kaesser. White Funeral home of Independence was in charge of arrangements.
