This is good info above.
The Broffels, their are several various spellings,
came from Germany in late 1790's and moved to Dundas
County, Ontario Canada. His name was Johan Ludwig
Broeffle. He was a Lutheran Minister. He married late in life to Margaret Osterander, Dutch. They had several children. (email me, I have this written down) We are related to Peter Henry and then William Henry both of whom moved from up state NY to IL then Iowa and to Wright Co. about 1878.
2 Pohlman brothes married 2 Broeffle sisters.
So almost all the Pohlman's in Wright Co. are related. Frances Arvillia was the youngest daughter of William Henry and she was my great great Aunt. Email or call me at 469 834 3234 and I will fill you in with more info.
