Alice Frederickson

I am searching for information regarding my Great Aunt, Alice Frederickson. Born May 1887 in Sidney, Fremont, Iowa. Her mother died in 1896 and sometime after that, but before 1900, she and her siblings were removed from my Great Grandfather's, Solomon Frederickson, care. I have been able to find all of my Grandma's siblings except for Alice. It is like she fell from the earth. The last location I can prove for her is Woodbury Cty, IA. I've possibly located her in Red Oak Iowa but can not prove it is her. I was told by another family member that they "think" she may have married someone by the name of Pettit. That's all I've got to go on, and I'm banging my head against the big wall in front of me. I am hopeful that one of you out there knows of my Great Aunt Alice. I would be grateful to learn more! Thank you.
