Interested in your Allen surname. I am looking for anyone connected with the Essick family that moved to Warren Co., IA in the late 1800's from PA. Michael L. Essick m. Mary Snodgrass: Their son, William J. Essick married a Lydia J. Allen. I'm in hopes of finding someone connected through William that might have information about Michael and his family. I think that my gr-gr-grandmother Elizabeth was a sister to Michael. She stayed in PA and raised a large family there. Her daughter was my gr-grandmother. I'm hoping that your Allen family might be related to Lydia and might have some information. Thanks, Carol
