I just came across this after several years. Jonathan and his family moved to Colorado around 1870. He died in 1877 and is buried in Loveland, CO. Many of the family ended up in La Mesa, CA area, near San Diego, including my grandfather Frank who was born in Bonaparte in 1858 and died in Claremont CA in 1920.
