Frank Van Patten

Frank Van Patten, 80, of Oakland, Ark., died August 27, 1990, at Mountain Home, Arkansas.

He was born May 25, 1910, in What Cheer to Henry A. and Eliza Danner Van Buren. He married Mattie Overlander in Stockport.

He attended school in Mahaska County and lived in What Cheer and Keosauqua for several years before moving to Des Moines. He was an auctioneer and owned and operated Van's Trailer Court in Des Moines.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, June; a son, David; and two sisters, Minnie Burdock of rural What Cheer and Pansy Simpson of Barnes City.

The service was held Thursday, August 30, 1990 at 2 p.m. in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
