Frances Janice Blough

Francis Janice (Jan) Blough, 76, of Fairfield, Iowa died Monday, December 17, 1990 at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

She was born May 7, 1914 in Lee County. Her parents were Peter Michael and Frances Ellen Moore Rhody.

Mrs. Blough moved to Fairfield as a young girl and graduated from Fairfield High School. She took her normal training at Cedar falls, taught one year in a rural school, and had worked as a bookkeeper and Cromer's.

She married Jack H. Blough April 18, 1937 at Memphis, Missouri. He died December 31, 1979. Also preceding her parents and a sister, Florence Natalie Sheets.

Surviving are two daughters, CoeAnn Mosinski of Richland and Carol Jean Blough of Fairfield, one son, Richard M. Blough of Ottumwa, and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 20, 1990 at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with Pastor Robert Gates officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Memorials have been established with Parkview Care Center and First Christian Church in Fairfield.
