Beulah Boley

Beulah L. Boley, 92, of Stockport died at 6:12 p.m. December 8, 1990, at Van Buren Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

She was born Nov. 21, 1898 in Van Buren County to William and Sarah McCracken Boley.

She graduated from Mount Pleasant High School and Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant. She was a retired teacher spending most of her teaching career at Spilman College in Atlanta, Ga. She was a member of Hillsboro Baptist Church where she was also a Sunday school teacher. She has been a resident of Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua for the past 11 years.

She is survived by a brother, Dean Boley; and two sisters, Irene and Norene Boley, all of Stockport.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Lewis, Nick and Mack Boley; and a sister, Ida Bloomquist.

The service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 1990 at Hillsboro Baptist Church, the Rev. Ed Newman officiating. Burial was in Hillsboro Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Hillsboro Baptist Church Scholarship Fund, Keosauqua, Good Samaritan Center and Stockport First Responders.
