Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Effie D. Petty, 74, Burlington, North Carolina on October 21.
She is survived by her husband, 1 son, 2 granddaughters, three brothers and four sisters. Amont the sisters is Ruth Trueblood of Birmingham.
The Petty's have visited many time in Iowa and made many friends here.
Funeral services were held on October 23, 1990 at Grove Park Baptist Church in Burlington, North Carolina.
