Sophia M. Roberts

Sophia M. Roberts, age 72, Westview Apts. in Winfield, died Monday, May 7, 1990 at her residence in Winfield. The daughter of Henry and Alva (Cox) Bartholomew, she was born December 10, 1917 at Keosauqua, Iowa. She married Melbourne Wyatt Roberts in 1935 at Memphis, Mo. He died December 4, 1982. She attended Keosauqua Schools.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 10, 1990 at 11:00 a.m. from the Honts Funeral Home, Winfield, with Rev. Dennis Thomas officiating. Interment was in the Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Winfield Public Library.
