Martin F. Kunzman

Martin F. Kunzman, son of Fred and Mary Thum Kunzman, was born March 19, 1905 near Douds and died the morning of Saturday, May 5, 1990 at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center, Keosauqua, at the age of 85.

Martin married Opal Ollom Barstow August 13, 1951. She died March 13, 1969. A brother, Fred, also preceded him in death.

Surviving are a nephew, Richard Kunzman, Ankeny, two nieces, Ritzanna Seaton, Selma and Roselea Laubach, Los Angeles, California several cousins, other relatives and friends.

Martin spent his active life farming the family farm south of Selma and had resided at the Good Samaritan Center since 1982.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 9, 1990 at 11 a.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home, Douds, with Rev. Walter Shuka officiating. Interment was in Eldon Cemetery. A memorial was established for Van Buren Good Samaritan Center.
