Max D. Lanman
Max D. Lanman, age 42, RR 2, Keosauqua, died Tuesday, September 26, 1989 at 11:46 P.M. at the University Hospitals in Iowa Cith(City). He had suffered a heart attack on July 30th.
He was born February 25, 1947 in Davis County. He was the son of Russell and Gladys Swaim Lanman. He grew up in the Floris community and graduated from the Davis County High School in 1965.
Max had worked at Falco in Fairfield since June, 1966, employed in pattern maintenance. He was a member of Local No. 159, glass molders, pottery, plastic and Allied Workers International Union, AFL/CIO, CLC.
Max married Christine Keller on November 23, 1980 in Fairfield. He moved to Fairfield in 178 and to Keosauqua in April 1981.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, David Lanman. He is survived by his wife, his mother Gladys Lanman of Ottumwa, three daughters, Loretta, Leona and Linda Lanman, all of Eldon; four sisters: Beverly Murdock of East Moline, Ill., Mary Webster of Moline, Ill., Sharon Collie of Fairfield, Janet Cox of Ottumwa, five brothers: Craig of Eldon, Earl of Harvard, Ill, Carroll of Ashville, Ohio, Keith of Moline, and Raymond of Floris.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, 1989 at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, Pastor David Albert of the Congregational Church in Eldon officiating. Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery, East of Floris. Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery, East of Floris.
A memorial has been established in Max Lanman's name and may be left at the funeral home.
