C.F. Hoaglin rite set Monday

HILLSBORO - C.F. Hoaglin, 90, of Hillsboro died Thursday, Oct. 5, 1989, at his home.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hillsboro Baptist Church with the Rev. Ed Newman officiating. Burial will be in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Visitation is open at Beatty Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. A memorial has been established to the Hillsboro Baptist Church.

Hoaglin was born Oct. 3, 1899, at Hillsboro, the son of Charles and Melissa Boley Hoaglin. He was a farmer and well known in the area as a raiser of Polled Heifer cattle. He also was a member of the Hillsboro Baptist Church. (**handwritten: Hereford)

Survivors include a brother William M. of Mount Pleasant, a sister Eva Harlan of Hillsboro and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five brothers Mark, Harry, Frank, Joe and Clyde.
