Alta Maye Selby, 94, Granger, Mo., died Wednesday, Mar. 8, at 11:45 p.m. at the Scotland County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 26, 1894, in Van Buren County, Iowa, the daughter of George and Mary Miller Cochenour. She married Glenn Selby in Kahoka, Mo., on April 20, 1916.
She was a longtime resident of Granger, Mo., and ran Selby Hardware Store for 31 years. She was also a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, Nathan, Vernie and Jess Cochenour; and two sisters, Elizabeth Rude and Minnie Clayton.
Survivors include one son, Oris Kelly, of Granger, Mo., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday at the Payne-Gerth Chapel in Memphis with Rev. Larry Groom officiating. Burial will be in the Granger Cemetery.
Visitation will be at 5 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the Payne-Gerth Chapel.
