Genevieve K. Boatman

Genevieve K. Boatman, 59, of Mt. Sterling, Iowa, formerly of Keokuk, died Sunday, March 5, in Keokuk Area Hospital.

She was born Sept. 21, 1928, in Keokuk, the daughter of Lewis and Anna Meyers Kaneer. She married Elmer Boatman on March 14, 1946, in Keokuk. She was a longtime resident of Keokuk and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alexandria and the Women's Auxiliary.

Survivor's include her husband; sons Terry Lee of Mt. Sterling, Steven Louis of Lampases, Texas, Gary A. of Arbela, Curtis E. and Jeffrey S., both of Mt. Sterling; daughter, Mrs. Scott (April) L. Kerr of Marietta, Ga.; parents of Argyle; brothers Charles Kaneer of Batesville, Iowa; sisters Anna Marie Wright of Keokuk, Maxine Pate of Batesville, Ark., Mrs. Edward (Loretta) Nye of Argyle, Betty Louise Heinfield of Rock Hall, Md.
