Harry Reinier

Harry B. Reinier, 78, of Bettendorf, formerly of Hillsboro, died Saturday, April 8, 1989, at St. Luke's Hospital in Davenport.

He was born June 16, 1910, in Hedrick to Lloyd and Nettie Messersmitt Reinier. He worked in construction and was a member of Laborers International Union of North America. He married Dorothy Ruggles on Dec. 9, 1936, in Leon; she died in 1984. He married Mary Eaton; she died in 1988.

He is survived by two daughters, Treeanon Davis of Hillsboro, Ruth Messer of Danville; four sons, Harry "Bob" of Hillsboro, Frank of Arcadia, Kan., Ernie of San Jose, Calif., and Roger of Andalusia, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lloyd Reinier Jr. of Little Rock, Ark.; and four sisters, Mary Jasper and Betty Rickey of Wapello, Goldie Jasper and Elsie Baxter of Ottumwa.

The service was at 2 p.m. April 10, 1989 at the Hillsboro Christian Church in Hillsboro. Burial was in Hillsboro Cemetery.

A memorial has been established to Hillsboro Christian Church.
