Alice Rose Huff

Alice Rose Huff, age 95, of Country Lane Apartments, Keosauqua, Iowa died at 10 a.m. Monday, August 28, 1989 at Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.

She was born March 4, 1894 in Lee County, Iowa, daughter of Aaron and Maria Heockmann Heaton. She married Lloyd G. Campbell March 28, 1916. She later married Harry Huff February 13, 1945. He died June, 1967. She moved to Senior Citizens Apartments in Keosauqua in 1983.

Alice was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Gordon Campbell, Long Beach, Calif., Reid Campbell, Keosauqua and Neal Campbell, Ottumwa. Also surviving is one step-son, Maurice Huff of Fairfield and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Lynn, two step-children, one granddaughter, six brothers and four sisters.

Her body was donated to the Anatomy Department, University Hospitals, Iowa City.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, 1989 at Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield with Rev. Richard Kirby officiating.

Burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flower memorials to Country Lane Apartments and Keosauqua Senior Citizen Center.
