Anna E. Rudolph rite Friday

BIRMINGHAM - The service for Anna E. Rudolph, 98, former Birmingham resident, who died at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 1989, at Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua, where she had lived for 16 years, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Burch-Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham with Lothar Legtat officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Fairfield. Friends may call at their convenience at the funeral chapel in Birmingham. A memroial(err) has been established to the Good Samaritan Center.

Miss Rudolph was born June 5, 1890, in Leimback, State of Hesse, Germany, the daughter of Adam and Katherine Rudolph. She moved to Birmingham in 1912 and lived with her uncle, John Rudolph, receiving naturalization May 6, 1927. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Fairfield and was employed as a housekeeper until failing health forced her to quit.

She is survived by a half-brother, Adam, a half-sister, nieces and nephews of Leimback, West Germany, and locally, by cousins.
