Ada Flossie Leazer, 89, of Salem, died at 10:55 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 1989, at the Henry County Health Center, Mount Pleasant.
Born Oct 18, 1899, in Hillsboro, she was the daughter of Joe and Alice Thornton Wilson. She married Thurman K. Leazer April 25, 1918, in Fort Madison. He died June 26, 1961.
She was employed as a telephone operator and with the Harlan Hotel, Mount Pleasant.
Surviving are two sons, Milo "Mike" Leazer, Burlington, and Gene A. Leazer, Mount Pleasant; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
Visitation is today at Lunning Chapel.
The service for Mrs. Leazer will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Friends Church, Salem, with the Rev. Dwight Engel officiating. Burial will be in Salem East Cemetery.
