Walter P. Thomson

Walter P. Thomson, 69, of Williamstown, died Thursday, June 1, in St. Mary's Hospital, Quincy, Ill.

He was born Nov. 24, 1919, in Onida, the son of Clifford R. and Mable Priebe Thompson. He married Dorothy Suter on Nov. 24, 1937, in Palmyra, Mo. He farmed in Clark County and had retired.

He was a member of the Kahoka Christian Church and the 50-50 Class of the church.

Survivors include his wife; son Larry Thomson of Canton; aunt Mrs. Maude Moncrief of Kahoka and uncle Glenn Priebe of Farmington; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Services were held Sunday, June 4, at the Kahoka Christian Church with Rev. Donald Mosely officiating.

Burial was in the Ballard Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Kahoka Christian Church.

Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
