Esten A. Wilson, 81, of Farmington, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 1989 at 3:15 a.m. at the University of Iowa City, Iowa.
The son of William M. and Goldie Collins Wilson, he was born in Clark County, Missouri on July 11, 1908.
He was united in marriage to Thelma E. Brewster on December 24, 1930 and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Leland Wilson, rural Farmington; one daughter, Mrs. Walter (Lois) Walz, Donnellson; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Melvin Wilson and one brother in infancy.
He was a member of the Anson Community Church and had lived and farmed in the Anson community until retiring and moving to Farmington in 1981.
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 9, 1989 at the Anson Community Church with Reverend Mike Shea officiating. Burial was in the Anson Cemetery.
Shaffer & Sons Funeral Home, Kahoka, Missouri was in charge of the arrangements.
