Charles Page

Charles Page, 77, Farmington, formerly of Fort Madison, died at 2:35 a.m. Monday, October 23, 1989 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua.

Mr. Page was born July 22, 1912 at Bonaparte. He moved from Ft. Madison to Farmington in 1964. He was a retired pressman for Midwest Packaging Materials Co. in Fort Madison and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

On October 19, 1946 at Kahoka, Missouri he married LaVaun Miller, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Richard Klise, Phoenix, Arizona; a sister, Mildred Benjamin; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers. His parents were Clarence and Cora Matthews Page.

Services were held at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington on Wednesday, October 25, 1989 with Reverend Ron Haas officiating. Burial was in Sharon Cemetery.

A memorial is being established with the Farmington EMT unit. Contributions may be made at the funeral home.
