Lela May Decker

Lela May Decker, 87, of 1895 Dill Street, Burlington, died 11 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 1989 at Burlington Medical Center's Klein Unit.

Born April 16, 1901 in Van Buren County, she was the daughter of William and Leona McElroy Marriott. She married Roy Decker February 19, 1922 in Keosauqua.

She worked at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant, Middletown, until her retirement in 1954. She was of the Presbyterian faith. She was a charter member of the Eagles and a member of the railroad auxiliary.

Surviving is her husband.

The service for Mrs. Decker was held on Tuesday, February 28, 1989 at Lunning Chapel with the Reverend Dean Graber officiating. Burial was in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
