Fred Carr Glasscock, 66, of rural Kahoka, died at 1:58 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, in Keokuk Area Hospital.
He was born Feb. 12, 1923, in Ashton, Mo., the son of Wade Hampton and Phyllis Marie Hopp Glasscock. He married Phyllis Marie Trotter on July 15, 1951, at the Sacred Heart Church in Ft. Madison.
He was a graduate of the Cantril High School. For the past 27 years he had been employed as a bus driver for the Clark County R-1 School System.
Survivors include his wife; sons Kevin of Canton, Jeffrey C. of Kahoka, and Timothy of Muscatine; daughters Mrs. Eugene (Ame) Parrish of Novelty and Megan E. of the home; brothers Ovie W. Glasscock of Kahoka and Mrs. Delbert (Velma) Hasenclever of Weaver; four grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
