Zeffa Billingsley, 88, of Winfield, formerly of Oquawka, Illinois died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, June 25, 1989 at the Henry County Health Center, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.
Born September 6, 1900 in Hillsboro, she was the daughter of Charles and Ella Frazer Nichols. She married Howard Billingsley in 1916 in Stockport. He died in 1967.
She was of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Opal (Edgar) Hartley, Hillsboro, Mrs. Eve (Robert) Lee, Olds, and Mrs. Barbara (Byron) Miller, New London; five sons, John Billingsley and Raymond Billingsley, both of Mt. Pleasant, Walter Billingsley, Fairfield, Floyd Billingsley, Oquawka, Illinois, and Kenneth Billingsley, Maryland; 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two sons, Bob Billingsley and Gary Billingsley, and an infant.
