FLOYD JONES DIED SUNDAY NIGHT IN CENTRAL AMERICA

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jones received a cablegram Monday Morning telling them of the death of their youngest son, Floyd, at Tela, Honduras, C. C. He had suffered cerebral hemorrhage Sunday night at 11 o'clock, and passed away at 5 o'clock Monday morning without regaining consciousness. This message came as a distinct shock to his folks, as they had received a letter from him on Friday stating he was well.

Floyd, age 34, was a graduate of the Gilbert High school with the class of 1920. He went to Honduras about six years ago and was employed by the South American Fruit Co. He was married in August, 1936, and besides his wife, he leaves an infant son five weeks old.

His wife is prostrated with the shock of his death, and confined to the hospital. As soon as she is able to travel she will bring the body to Gilbert for burial. The time and arrangements will be announced later.
