MRS. MASON DIED IN NORTH DAKOTA

Mother of Mrs. John Erickson of Story City Succumbed to Heart Failure Tuesday Night.

Mrs. K. E. Mason, 62, of Carpio, N. D., mother of Mrs. J. E. Erickson of Story City, died Tuesday night at the home of her son Kermit at Grand Forks, N. D. following a heart attack. Her body was found Wednesday morning. She had been a sufferer with heart trouble for some time, so her death was not totally unexpected.

Mrs. Mason, a former resident of the southern part of Story county, had bee visiting for several weeks with her son, and was preparing to leave this week for Story City to attend the graduating exercises. She was born Mary Thompson, at Slater. Mr. Mason is a former Huxley resident.

Surviving, besides the husband and on son are two daughters, Mrs. Edith Helming of Carpio, N. D., and Mrs. J. E. Erickson of Story City.

Mrs. Erickson and children accompanied by Mrs. K. F. Johnson, left this morning for Carpio to attend the funeral.
