Alton Democrat of July 29, 1893 page 5 -
A little son was born at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hanson, residing three miles east of town last Tuesday.

Next best to try to contact St. Mary's Catholic Church of Alton for a birth and baptismal record.
