Funeral services for George Kapinski, 61, Bettendorf, were held at Bettendorf Nov. 14 with burial in the Davenport Memorial park. Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the American Lung association.

Mr. Kapinski died at a Davenport hospital Nov. 12.

Mr. Kapinski was employed by Rockingham Machine Co., Pleasant Valley until he retired in 1962. He was a member of the Bettendorf American Legion.

He was married to Jeanette Johnson in Bettendorf in 1937.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Georgie) Schroeder, LeClare and son, Gerald, Tipton, 8 grandchildren and 2 brothers, Frank, Camanche and John, Bettendorf.
