Elva Lee Haley

Elva Lee Haley, 64, of 4549 N.E. 26th St., died Saturday of a respiratory ailment at Park haven Custodial Home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wilson-Watson Funeral Home in Mount Ayr, and burial will be in Marshalltown Cemetery in Mount Ayr.

Born in Tingley, Mrs. Haley had lived in Des Moines for 35 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Galilee Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Rosezetta Shepherd and Linda McCleese, both of Des Moines; three sons, Larry and Mark, both of Des Moines, and Gene of Napa Valley, Calif.; three sisters, Lorrina Jones of Kansas City, Mo., Annabelle Knight of Mount Ayr and Marie Rains of Des Moines; five brothers, Hubert and Lloyd Dredge, both of Wichita, Kan., Henry Dredge of national City, Calif., and Junior and Frank Dredge, both of Mount Ayr; and ten grandchildren.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today at Hamilton's Funeral Home, and from noon Monday until service time at Wilson-Watson Funeral Home in Mount Ayr. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa sun 18 Feb 1990.
