OBITUARY - MRS. SADIE POWELL

Sadie Leona CORLL, daughter of Jonathan and Elizabeth [(MOORE)] CORLL, born July 25, 1886, in Putnam county, Missouri, and passed away April 20, 1956 at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr.

On October 20, 1920, she was united in marriage with William POWELL, who preceded her in death in October, 1945.

For the past ten years she had made her home with her brothers, Alma and Orval, who, during the declining years of her life made her as comfortable and happy as loving hands could.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Delpha, Neva, Catherine and Grace, and a brother, Will.

Left to mourn her passing are two sons, Lyle and Glenn; six grandchildren; a great-grandson; eight brothers, Joe of Maryville, MO, Harvey, of Van Wert, and Floyd, Clyde, Charlie, Alma, Alva and Orvall, all of Kellerton, and a sister, Mrs. Nelson SMITH, of Lamoni.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, April 23 at two o'clock, from the Methodist church in Kellerton, conducted by the Rev. M.J. NASH. Casket-bearers were Darrell POWERS, Amos BUSH, Harold AKERS, Jim PAYTON, Frank EPPS and John MORRISON. Interment was in the Maple Row cemetery at Kellerton.
