OBITUARY - Henry CONLEY

Henry CONLEY father of Mrs. A. F. [Serenam, wife of Amos Fiss] RUBY and Mrs. A. L. [Melissa Jane, wife of James Alson] BENSON died Thursday in Union County, Iowa and the remains were brought to the home of A. F. RUBY.

The funeral was conducted Sunday from the Methodist Church in Knowlton by Rev. A.L. BATES of Diagonal, Iowa and interment was made in the Knowlton [Centenary] Cemetery.

NOTE: Henry CONLEY married first to Susan CAMPBELL who was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky in 1827, and died at the age of 46 in Ringgold County, Iowa. Henry married second on March 25, 1880, Glenwood, Iowa, to Rachel M. HARVEY. Rachel was born in Virginia in 1839, and died at age 55, Creston, Union County, Iowa, 1894. Rachel was interred at Centenary Cemetery, Knowlton, Iowa.
