OBITUARY - LON A. WHITE

Lon A. [Alfred Alonzo "Lon"] WHITE was born Febuary 28, 1880 at Mount Ayr, the son of Thomas William and Rebecca WHITE, and passed away Thursday morning in St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Lincoln, Neb.

His wife Laura, preceded him in death in 1953.

Mr. WHITE had resided in Lincoln for the past forty-five years, during most of the time he was engaged in the roofing business.

Left to mourn his death are three brothers: Silas WHITE of Pueblo, Colo.; John K. WHITE of Kellerton, Iowa, and Albert WHITE of Exeter, Calif.; two sisters, Lillian WHEELER of Ottumwa, Iowa and Maude VOLLAND of Milford, Neb., and a step-son Clyde NEWKIRK and his wife Vinnie.

Graveside services were had Sunday afternoon in Rose Hill Cemetery [Mount Ayr], conducted by the Rev. Clifford GERALD, paster of the Assembly of God Church.
