OBITUARY - MRS. BURL SHEPPARD.

Lydia Pearl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon BRINGOLF, was born in Polk county, Iowa, August 30, 1883, and on January 15, 1931, at the University hospital in Iowa City, she bade her husband goodby and entered into her rest. She was 46 years, four months and 15 days old.

She was united in marriage to Burl SHEPPARD in Harrisonville, Mo., November 16, 1904. Two sons, Gene at home and Guy, who lives near Mount Ayr, came to bless this home. She and her husband spent four years in Missouri, ten in Kansas and the remainder of their married life near Mount Ayr.

In early life she united with the Church of Christ and continued in this faith until the end. She was ready to go and her ony concern was for her husband and sons. She was a good wife and mother and no sacrifice was too great for their comfort.

Funeral services were held at the Rhoades' Funeral Home January 18, at two o'clock, conducted by T. S. RHOADES and interment in Rose Hill cemetery [Mount Ayr].

NOTE: SHELDON T. BRINGOLF, father of Lydia Pearl, was born in 1864, and died in 1935. Mattie J. (?) BRINGOLF, Lydia Pearl's mother, was born in 1865, and died in 1952. They were interred at Spry Cemetery, Polk County, Iowa.
