ROBERT LOUTZENHISER SERVICES HELD WED.

Funeral services for Robert D. LOUTZENHISER, 91, of Blockton, held Wed., June 22, in the Blockton Christian Church, were conducted by Rev. Mel SMITH and Rev. Janes FARRIS. Mr. LOUTZENHISER died June 19 in Bedford Manor, Bedford, Iowa. Interment was at the Blockton Cemetery.

Born September 28, 1891 in Ringgold County, Iowa, the third son of O. J. and Lizzie (JUDY) LOUTZENHISER, he spent most of his life as a farmer and good neighbor in that county, moving to the town of Blockton in 1957.

Rob and Bertha WARDEN were married on September 20, 1914 at Redding, Iowa. Bertha survives along with five children born to this union - Warden of Blockton, Iowa, marjorie of Littleton, Colorado, Paul of Kingdom City, Mo., Idalee of Alpena, Michigan, and Robert of Villisca, Iowa. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, one grandchild, two great grandchildren and a daughter-in-law.

Rob was a successful farmer, good neighbor, and upstanding member and deacon of the Blockton Christian Church for over 60 years. his presence will be missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Blockton Christian Church.
