OBITUARY - HUGH LESAN, KELLERTON

MOUNT AYR -- Hugh [Burritt] LESAN, 93, of Kellerton died June 20, 1991, at the Decatur County Hospital in Leon.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Kellerton. The Rev. Joe FLORENDO will officiate the service. Burial will be in the Maple Row Cemetery at Kellerton. There is open visitation at the Wilson-Watson Funeral Home in Mount Ayr. Memorials may be directed to the United Methodist Church, Kellerton.

Mr. LESAN was born August 2, 1897, in Creston [Union County, Iowa] to Burritt and Mollie (McCLAREN) LESAN. He married Cleo WHISLER February 2, 1924 in Mount Ayr. He lived most of his live in Ringgold County. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Cleo LESAN of Kellerton; two sons, Richard of Turlock, Calif., and Marvin "Pete" LESAN of Kellerton; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Jennie VANCE of Mount Ayr; and a sister-in-law, Mabel LESAN of Mount Ayr.

NOTE: A son William Roger LESAN was born in 1928, and died in 1928.
