OBITUARY - LOIS E. (RANDOLPH) HUNT

Lois E. HUNT, daughter of Walter & Gertrude (CRIST) RANDOLPH, was born January 14, 1925 near Ashley, Ohio. Her family moved to Mount Ayr in 1941 after living in numerous places in the United States due to Rev. RANDOLPH’s ministry. She graduated from Mount Ayr High School in 1942 and attended Aurora College. She was married to Amon L. HUNT on October 21, 1944 at Hickory Grove Advent Christian Church. Their union was blessed with five children; Kenneth Lee, Keith Leroy, Margaret Ann, Marjorie Annette, and Rebecca June. Lois was a longtime member of the Hickory Grove Advent Christian Church and had been a Sunday School President. Lois passed away at the Clearview Home in Mount Ayr on July 27, 2007.

She was preceded in death by her parents Walter & Gertrude; her siblings Nellie, June and Clifford “Buss”; granddaughters Marcie Marie POORE, Belinda Love HUNT, and Katherine Marie TULLY; and a grandson Cory Dean HUNT.

She is survived by Amon, her husband of 62 years; her children Ken & wife Margaret of Avondale, AZ, Keith and wife Rhonda of West Des Moines, IA, Margaret and husband Rodney SAVILLE of Maryville, MO, Marjorie TULLY of Iowa City, IA, and Rebecca HUNT of Mount Ayr; 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

A memorial fund has been established to the Hickory Grove Advent Christian Church.

Services were held on Monday, July 30, 2007, at 10:00 a.m., Hickory Grove Advent Christian Church, Mount Ayr, Iowa.
