OBITUARY - IDA ISABELLA DADY

Ida Isabella DADY was born in Jackson county, Iowa, September 5, 1859, and died at her home south of Ellston May 28, 1923.

She was married to Jesse DADY January 29, 1878. To this union seven children were born - Bessie, who died several years ago; Mrs. Elsie HILL of Tingley; C. H. of Mount Ayr; Mrs. Ethel WOOLLUMS and Mrs. Bertha HOGEMAN of Kellerton; Bert of Ellston and Alma SHELDON of Kellerton.

Mrs. DADY came to Ringgold county when a child and has spent her entire life in this vicinity.

She was united with the Methodist church when a girl and has ever been a good wife, a loving mother and a kind neighbor, hospitable and helpful.

She leaves besides the aged husband and the six children already mentioned, grand children, great grand children and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at High Point church by her pastor Miss Alta M. NICHOLS, and interment was made in the Johnston cemetery [near Kellerton, Ringgold County, Iowa].
