Anna Lee McCallion passed from this life on November 5, 2012. She was born June 16, 1920 in Rose Hill, IL to Emery and Allie Laws Cummins. She married Charles "Mac" McCallion on May 2, 1942. They were residents of Des Moines since 1952. She was a 50 year member of Westminster Church. She was employed by the State of Iowa for 18 years.
She is survived by her daughter Lee Ann McCallion Russo, Urbandale, daughter-in-law Mary McCallion Huckett of Tulsa, OK and her grandchildren Josh, Zach and Allie Russo of Des Moines, Lucas Russo of Tempe, AZ, Elizabeth McCallion of San Diego, CA and Sarah McCallion of Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years and her son David. Anna Lee had numerous relatives, all of whom were very special to her.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 6, at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
