Alice Stewart died peacefully on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the age of 104 at the Memory Care Facility at 3801 Grand Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Edwin Wilson and Bessie Dale Donahue; her two husbands, Earl Wolfe and Robert Stewart; two sisters, Olive Marshall and Gertha Keenan; and a brother who died at birth.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Joan Boldt (Wes); her granddaughters, Jennifer Hilmes (Jack) and Alicia Economos (Ted), all of Des Moines; and five great-grandchildren, John Hilmes of Ann Arbor, MI, Jackie Hilmes of Chicago, IL, Julianne Hilmes of Columbia, MO, Kristin Economos of Minneapolis, MN, and John Economos of Ames, IA.
Alice was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia and resided there until moving to Des Moines in 2001. Alice spent her career in Parkersburg working for the Internal Revenue Service and for a District Judge.
A memorial service and interment will be at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Parkersburg, West Virginia at a date to be determined.
