Evelyn Davidson, 87, of Manson died of complications of a stroke Wednesday at Manson Good Samaritan Center. Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Evangelical Covenant Church in Pomeroy. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Masonic Cemetery in Des Moines.
Mrs. Davidson was born in Des Moines and had lived in the area 60years. She was a receptionist with Iowa State Travelers Insurance Co. and had worked for the Johnson County Library in Kansas City before retiring.
She is survived by a daughter, Jeannine Johnson of Manson; a son, Thomas W. and a sister, Helen Johnson, both of Des Moines; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Odis Perry Davidson.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the time of services Saturday at the church. Larson-Weishaar Funeral Home in Manson is handling arrangements.
