Services for Carrie G. VanSyoc, 91, of 1319 Fremont St. who died of a heart attack Sunday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. today at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rising Sun cemetery.
Born in Canada, Mrs. VanSyoc was a homemaker in Des Moines since 1969.
Survivors include her husband, John W.; a daughter, Zelma Otto of Des Moines; two sons, Emerson of San Antonio, Texas, and Eldon of Des Moines; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Friends may call at the funeral home today, and memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Muscular Dystrophy Association.
