Was Ill Only Short Time After Stricken with Attack of Apoplexy

Mrs. D. U. Strong died at her home northwest of town at about nine o'clock Monday evening after an illness of only six hours. The cause of her death was apoplexy; She had been apparently well up to Monday and went about her work, as usual, that day. At about three o'clock in the afternoon, she was suddenly, stricken with the stroke of apoplexy. A physician was summoned and the members of her family notified.

About an hour after the attack Mrs. Strong lapsed into a coma from which she never rallied. Her husband and children, Dossie Strong, Fred Strong, Mrs. Jas. Donahue and Bertha Strong were with her at the time of her death.

Funeral services will be held at the Sacred Heart church at 10:00 o'clock Friday morning. Rev. Geo. F. Wessling will officiate. Burial will/be in Calvary cemetery. Obituary will be published next week
