Funeral services for Adam H. Simon, 79, will be held at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 15, 1989 at St. Joseph's Catholic church, with burial in Oak Ridge cemetery, West Liberty.

Mr. Simon died Feb. 13 at Mercy hospital in Iowa City following a long illness.

He married Doris Herring Feb. 16, 1931 in Riverside. She preceded him in death.

Mr. Simon farmed in Cedar county and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church.

He is survived by 5 daughters, Betty Smith, Jean Anne Feldman, Patti Koenig and Mary Sue Cline, all of West Liberty and Connie Black, Atalissa; 2 sons, John and Joseph, both of West Liberty; 30 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mary Thomann, Riverside.
