Funeral services for Kenneth H. Baker, 61, will be held at Snyder Funeral home, West Liberty at 11 a.m. today (Dec.11). Burial will be in the Oak Ridge cemetery.

Mr. Baker died at University hospitals, Iowa City.

The son of Commadore and Barbara Findley Baker, he was born at East Moline, Ill. Jan. 17, 1924 and was married to Shirley Jean Christie at West Branch Dec. 3, 1949. He retired from work at the West Liberty Oil Company in 1979. He was a navy veteran of World War II.

He is survived by 2 sons, David, West Liberty and Larry, Muscatine; 3 daughters, Annette Baker, Rosemary Marques and Theresa Cordova, all of West Liberty; 2 grandchildren, a brother, Merwin, East Moline and a sister, Helena Eckert, West Liberty. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1979.
