Funeral services for Mrs. Harold (Betty J.) Weinard, 62, were held at First Church United, West Liberty, Nov. 11 with burial in Oak Ridge cemetery. Mrs. Weinard died at her home in West Liberty Nov. 8.

Betty Smith was married to Harold Weinard in Muscatine in 1940. She was a shipping clerk at Louis Rich Food Co., West Liberty, where she had been employed for 13 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband; 4 daughters, Aurilee Schenck, Rock Island, Ill.; Judy Buckman, Morning Sun, Betty Weinard, Iowa City and Linda Willier, West Liberty; 2 sons, Hal and Rick, both of West Liberty; 9 grandchildren; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Smith; a sister, Ethel Burnett and 5 brothers, Rodney, Kenneth, Frank, Wayne and Robert Smith, all of West Liberty.
