Dwight Dunkin

Dwight O. Dunkin, 58, of Clear Lake, Wisconsin died Wednesday at Veterans Hospital in Des Moines. He had been hospitalized since August when he was injured in a tornado at his home.

He was born in Albia on May 6, 1919, the son of Ord and Callie Stump Dunkin. He had been a dairy farmer in Wisconsin for the past 10 years and was a World War II army veteran.

In February 1943 he married Elizabeth Bingaman of Grand Island, Nebraska. She Survives as does his mother, Mrs. Callie Dunkin of New Richmond, Wisconsin.

The funeral will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Geyer Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Brown officiating.

Burial will be in the Union Chapel Cemetery with military rites.

The family will be at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Friday.
