Elizabeth Dunkin

Elizabeth Dunkin, 70, of Indianola died Jan. 18, 1986, at Des Moines General Hospital.

She was born in Bloomfield on Dec. 5, 1915, the daughter of Blaine Harrison and Carrie Dilliner Bingaman. She was a housewife and had worked in a bakery. On Feb. 2, 1943, she married Dwight Dunkin of Grand Island, Neb. He died on Oct. 19, 1977.

Survivors include four sisters, Isabel Kline of Bloomfield, Lucille Fenton of Danville, Ill., Kathryn Gard of Des Moines, and Christine Wineinger of West Des Moines; two brothers, William and Wilbur Bingaman, both of Indianola; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were two brothers, Phillip and Richard.

The funeral was 10:30 a.m. today (Tuesday) at the Geyer Funeral Chapel in Albia, with the Rev. Stephen Root officiating. Burial was in Union Chapel Cemetery
